How do I setup an employee on a fingerprint time clock?

Setup of employees is easy to do across our range of networked terminals.

Employees are tagged to User Id numbers. The employee is taken to the terminal and their fingerprint or proximity card is tagged to their User Id number. From there they can start using the terminal straight away.

Fingerprint terminals
When enrolling an employee on a fingerprint terminal, the employee is assigned a User Id number. Then the employee can place their finger on the fingerprint scanner to register their print against their number. Most terminals will ask the employee to place the same finger on a couple of times so that the template stored is of good quality to use for matching. The employee can then enrol any number of their fingerprints against their User Id number for use.

To then use the terminal the employee simply places their fingerprint on the sensor to clock on/off or they can punch in their User Id number first for easier recognition of their fingerprints.

Proximity terminals
To enrol an employee on a proximity terminal the process is similar. Each employee is assigned a User Id number on the terminal. The proximity card then gets tagged to that User Id number and the card can then be given to the employee to start using. Each time the employee swipes the card past the terminal it will clock them on or off for work.
